Frequently Asked Questions
Will I receive a free upgrade if I’m on SSA?
Yes, you will always be entitled to receive the most recent version of the software, as long as you’re current with your SSA.
With SSA how do I access the videos, catalogs and updates?
When you sign up for SSA, you will receive a login for an online account that you can use to access these services. For network license purchasers you will be provided with 2 logins, 1 for the administrator and 1 ‘Safe’ password for use by the students to view training videos, etc.
Is SSA required?
SSA is optional, meaning that if you do not renew SSA after the one year coverage period included with your academic purchase, the software will still function; however, the added benefits of SSA will not be available.
What if my SSA expires and I want to renew later?
If your SSA expires, there is an SSA re-instatement fee based on the number of seats you have. The SSA re-instatement fee for Student & single seat Academic licenses is $95. Re-instatement fee for Academic network licenses is $250. If SSA has expired and a new version has released, regular upgrade pricing will apply. For example, you can not renew SSA once a new version has released, but you can still upgrade with SSA if you choose.
Will I receive a free upgrade if I own a Student License with SSA?
